Professors Jiang Sheng and Louis Komjathy to Attend AAR Conference

Professors Jiang Sheng and Louis Komjathy (Kang Siqi) will attend the annual conference of the American Academy of Religion, which will be held in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania from November 19^th through 23^rd.

Jiang Sheng will be a guest speaker on the inaugural panel of the AAR Daoist Studies Consultation, entitled “Daoist Studies: Problems and Prospects.” His paper will discuss the state of the field in China.

As Chair of the newly established AAR Daoist Studies Consultation, Louis Komjathy organized the inaugural panel. At the Philadelphia conference, he will give a brief inaugural address and preside over the DSC business meeting.
